HEI - HES-SO Valais-Wallis trains mechanical, electrical and energy engineers in an academic environment rooted in industrial realities. Its hydroelectricity research team brings together interdisciplinary skills in hydraulic machines, mechanics, materials, electrical systems and data analysis. FMV - Forces Motrices Valaisannes is a key partner for hydroelectric schemes in the Valais. Active in the production, transmission and marketing of electricity, as well as in the management of complex systems, FMV's strategic role is being strengthened. With the return of concessions, the company's activities and holdings in Valais facilities are set to grow significantly. FMV's vision is of an integrated Valais hydroelectric plant, conceived as a coordinated system for managing the facilities.
