Charly-Loup Lecointre

Biography

Charly-Loup Lecointre is an engineer specialising in the experimental study of hydraulic machines. Since 2022, he has been working at the HES-SO Valais-Wallis, in the Hydro Alps Lab, where he contributes to applied research projects in close collaboration with industrial players in the hydroelectric sector. He graduated in 2022 from the École Centrale de Lyon with a master's degree in energy and plant design, and completed his work-linked training as an apprentice engineer in energy efficiency in the tertiary and industrial heating sectors. His work mainly involves carrying out experimental measurement campaigns in laboratories and hydroelectric power stations, as well as processing and analysing the data acquired. He is also involved in the development and operation of the laboratory's experimental infrastructure, as well as supervising the practical work given to students.
