{"id":1772,"date":"2026-02-05T15:04:44","date_gmt":"2026-02-05T15:04:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/hydroalpslab.geekworkers.dev\/?p=1772"},"modified":"2026-02-22T15:05:20","modified_gmt":"2026-02-22T15:05:20","slug":"start-of-the-innosuisse-thalea-project-duplicate","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/hydroalpslab.ch\/en\/debut-du-projet-innosuisse-thalea-dupliquer\/","title":{"rendered":"Start of the Innosuisse THALEA project"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">The THALEA project kick-off was held at Hydromea in Renens on Tuesday 3 February.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">In the near future, THALEA will be able to inspect both run-of-river power plants and high head schemes, and to examine critical components such as Francis turbine blades, steel penstocks and concrete or rock galleries, <strong>without having to drain the systems<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\">Thalea is a collaboration between :<br>\u2022 <strong>Hydromea<\/strong>, a Swiss company providing innovative, untethered robotic solutions for underwater inspections,<br>\u2022 <strong>Schwartz NDT<\/strong>, a Swiss expert in non-destructive testing for hydroelectric installations,<br>- The <strong>Automation, Robotics and Machines Laboratory (ARM)<\/strong> of the University of Applied Sciences of Italian-speaking Switzerland SUPSI, which develops automated production systems based on robotics, as well as reconfigurable industrial robots, systems and industrial technologies,<br>- The <strong>Hydro Alps Lab<\/strong> of the HES-SO in Sion, whose research focuses on developing solutions for sustainable, state-of-the-art hydroelectric production systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Le mardi 3 f\u00e9vrier a eu lieu \u00e0 Renens chez la soci\u00e9t\u00e9 Hydromea le kick off du projet THALEA.
